I think that's a awesome shot. It's got the style you were going for IMO. His posture shows his confidence. Which says that he must know what he's talking about.

This is a Great Shot, but...

I don't like the flares so much, I think it takes your focus away from the subject's face.

It was the first thing I looked on the picture and not what it really matters, which in my opinion should be his eyes.

He's going the celebrity doctor route trying to get on the talk show circuit and all that. Was trying to get that whole papparazi feel of lights from all sides thing... some depth...

eh eh, of course no, not always... in that case it looked to me like it was a bit forced... I'd have seen him a bit on a side, maybe in another position.

Taste it's highly personal and subjective, so I'm not discussing your work, I just wanted to know your idea about that matter...
